Saline Lectronics Invests in Additional Capital Equipment

With the increasing demand from our customers over the past several months, Saline Lectronics' management team agreed to invest in a new Juki 2060RL high speed automatic smt placement machine, an additional YesTech YTX-3000 X-Ray Inspection System and a Thermotron S-32C Test Chamber.

The Juki 2060RL is our fifth automated surface mount line installed in our Saline facility. This high speed flexible placement system for high-density placements can place a wide range of components and accommodate a board size up to 20" x 18".

The YesTech YTX-3000 X-Ray is the second high-resolution X-Ray Inspection System installed at the Saline facility that provides Saline Lectronics operators with a high resolution x-ray capability to reduce cost, improve quality and increase throughput. With a full 360 degrees of rotation and 30 degrees of tilt, we will be able to automatically inspect the BGA and flip chip devices from different angles along with solder joint quality, voids, and component placement.

The Thermotron S-32C Test Chamber is equipped with the 2800 Programmer Controller along with the Therm-Alarm that will protect the chamber and product under test from temperatures in excess of prescribed limits. High and low temperature tests can be performed ranging in temperature from -70°C to 170°C.
