Flying Probe Tester

Our flying probe tester is an invaluable
machine in the Saline Lectronics’ testing department

It can be used for in-circuit testing that does not require a “test fixture” to interface to the board being tested.  Once the test program has been developed, the flying probes will contact the test points, minimizing the time needed to implement passive product test, therefore drastically reducing test costs.

Since our flying probe can access component pads directly, without requiring dedicated test points, we can increase test coverage of in-circuit test programs with respect to the traditional bed-of-nails approach, allowing us to provide optimum quality tests, even on today’s high-density SMT boards.

The flying probe provides precise node fault diagnostics.  We can detect the exact fault on a board, allowing our operators to quickly locate and repair faulty components on the boards.
