Dr. Jennie S. Hwang Visits Saline Lectronics

As part of Saline Lectronics continued efforts to establish itself as a leader as a contract manufacturer for printed circuit board assemblies, and to ensure that we provide viable solutions to our customers, Saline Lectronics management team was pleased to have met with Dr. Jennie S. Hwang at our facility in Saline, Michigan this month.

Dr. Hwang, author, consultant and world renowned industry expert on lead-free reliability and RoHos compliance provided Lectronics with hands-on solutions to challenging production issues regarding lead-free implementation and modern solder technology for competitive electronics manufacturing. During her tour of our facility, Dr. Hwang was able to critique the progress that Lectronics process control teams have implemented to date regarding these issues to reassure us that we continue to be in the forefront of technology in our manufacturing process.

Dr. Hwang holds a PhD in Materials Science & Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and two M.S. degrees in Chemistry and Liquid Crystals Science from Columbia University and Kent States Liquid Crystal Institute.
