Saline Lectronics Wins a 2014 Global Technology Award for Its Contract Services

SALINE, MI ― September 2014 ― Saline Lectronics, Inc., a leading electronics contract manufacturer, announces that it was awarded a 2014 Global Technology Award in the category of Contract Services $50-$100 million. The award was presented to the company during a ceremony that took place at the Donald Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL during SMTA International. As a solution’s provider, Saline Lectronics combines the latest technologies with personal attention to each customer to provide the highest-quality circuit board and electro-mechanical box build assemblies.

Global Technology Award Winner 2014With five SMT Lines, three of which are high-speed, utilizing Juki’s FX-3 equipment, Saline Lectronics places an average of 13 million components per month ranging in size from 0201 mm to 30.5 mm.  All SMT placed components are 100 percent inspected on one of seven Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machines, guaranteeing accuracy and quality. For components that are not placed in surface mount, Saline Lectronics also supports wave solder, selective solder and hand solder operations in both RoHS and Tin Lead requirements. Saline Lectronics also offers robust testing solutions and supports functional, ICT and flying probe testing capabilities. In addition, Saline’s test engineers can design, develop and build customized, automated test stations based on customer requirements and specifications.

As an added benefit, Cogiscan’s Track, Trace and Control (TTC) system further enhances Saline’s traceability program by monitoring the complete lifecycle of a product through manufacturing.  Saline’s customers that utilize TTC have access to real-time data of work-in-progress, verification of quality processes and production flow as well as a thorough history of the assembly process in case of a recall.
