Key responsibilities include cycle counting, managing inventory integrity, ensuring proper transactions occur and pulling kitted material for production.
Clerk must me a self-motivated individual with a keen eye for detail and a willingness to take ownership and responsibility for work assigned. Must have basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook. Must possess a positive, cooperative attitude with the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers. Must be willing to learn new skills and apply them appropriately to assigned duties.
The stockroom clerk is responsible for accurately fulfilling all manufacturing material requirements and maintaining raw inventory. This position reports to the Stockroom Coordinator. Accuracy is a key factor within this position.
Utilizing first in-first out (FIFO) within a lean manufacturing, Kanban, and continuous improvement environment to pull kits and fulfill all manufacturing material requirements. Perform daily cycle counts and answer production alerts with speed and efficiency. Responsible for reporting and maintaining accurate inventory counts as well as maintaining proper storage placement of inventory. Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
