The Test Operator must have a high school Diploma or GED; a technical degree will receive preference. Must be flexible with working hours, including Saturdays. Must have a desire to work with electronics, be able to lift 25-50 LBS, and have a positive attitude.

Job Skills:
Test Operator must have basic computer skills. The operator must be able to work with hand tools, follow procedures, and accurately interpret and read assembly drawings.

Primary Function:
Test Operator will be responsible for testing the functionality of electronic assemblies/sub-assemblies, components, systems, units and parts according to established procedures. This position reports to the Test Manager.

Work Performed:
The Test Operator tests electronic products, components and systems for electrical continuity and function and reliability on a variety of test platforms. Determines if the designated product passes all test cycles. Collects diagnostic information needed to isolate any product failure. Enters test yield data into appropriate statistical process control system. Notifies the appropriate test/quality engineer if test yields drop below acceptable levels. Inspects product for the correct placement and orientation of untested components. Inspects product for any physical damage or contamination. Places the appropriate test marks on all electronics pass test. Perform the assembly of electronics in their associated box, top-level assemblies. May train others. Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
